My grove-to-be

Greetings, traveler. I am Zaishalla and you have entered my grove. Okay...so it's not really my grove. It's just a picture of the Manistee trail I found on the net, but it'll have to do. Anyway, as I was saying, welcome to the grove that could be my grove. I know! Next summer, when I go back to Michigan, I will go to the Manistee trail and find these trees and say "In the name of Anala, I claim these trees." And then it really will be Zaisha's grove. That sounds like fun. I can't wait. Anyway, as I was saying, welcome to the grove that will eventually be my grove. Within these trees you will find many things pertaining to Dungeons and Dragons and NERO.

The tune in the background is called "The Oak and the Ash". This version was sequenced by Leslie Nelson . It is a song of a young woman who travels to London, but longs for her home in the north country. My favorite version is sung by the wonderful Custer LaRue under the title "The Northern Lasse's Lamentation" on the Baltimore Consort's "Tunes from the Attic" CD.

The rough draft for my existence in NERO is now complete. Feel free to take to look and send me your thoughts. I can be reached at zaisha@operamail.com for comments. The story is located here, Zaisha's Story . There is also a link further below. My next post to this page could be the storyline for this semester's adventure which my D&D counterpart is a part of. Jaeron has begun scribing the quest and I'll be writing the parts he lost consciousness for. Like when he uses burning hands on some orcs to save Ewe only to have them take him down next round or when he caught the tailend of a dracolich's acid attack. Ooh, that was nasty. Part 2 to Arilyn's Story is currently not progressing.

Change is in air! Zaisha has her very own domain! It's gonna be a little while before I get everything moved out completely and this page will probably undergo a facelift before all is said and done. Definitely this year... yeah, probably... Zaisha was said to see the above Baltimore Consort link dead. Custer LaRue went on leave in 2004 and another member left. I was hoping to see them still touring. Nothing lasts forever, I suppose

Another year and.... Another update! Yah! What has Zaisha been up to you ask! Well PSO for most of June and July, made it to around level 60 or so. The pursuit of that red capsule just wasn't enough. But in early December Zaisha found something better. Final Fantasy XI! I am now a Level 37 Mithra Red Mage. What's that you say? Well yeah, I'm an elf. I shouldn't be a cat-girl? Well just look at Square-Enix's _elvaan_. When you think of an elf, what comes to mind? Dexterity, agility, magic perhaps. All three of which these elvaan tend to lack. I could have been elvaan, yes, but I wouldn't be quite the red mage I am today. Go Zaishalla! Anyway, I have lots of screens. (Please) (/check)! Zaisha's FFXI page

My oh my! Zaisha really needs to update her page more often! Let's see... What's been going on. Not much, really. Zaisha's been debating on whether or not to write a series of stories set in the world of Dragon Tale III. That will be quite an endeaver and Zaisha's not sure if she's up to it! We'll see. Zaisha now has a cable modem. Which doesn't mean much except Zaisha's updates and files will get to the server faster! Zaisha is now online. If you are a player of Phantasy Star Online for Gamecube you may be able to find a Zaishalla the HUnewearl. Currently level 28!

I'm going to update this page just because I haven't done anything in a while. Now that the trees are going into hibernation, perhaps I shall pay more attention to this page. Anyway, here's what's going on. Arilyn hasn't even thought about writing part two of her background. Perhaps sometime she'll get around to finishing it. Hmm, Jaeron finally found the manuscript he was working on. Then he sat it down! We, uhh, don't know where it went... But I'm sure it will turn up eventually. That picture of me I mentioned, well, the person who took it can't find it. Seems alot of stuff is missing. They've got to be somewhere. Later!

An update! I've been away from the internet for quite a while, but here's what's happening! Narillim's picture is finally up. There's a few others sitting around in a subdirectory somewhere, but I don't have a link to them yet. Why not? Because I'm squeezing a week's worth of surfing into 30 minutes, that's why! I just had a long talk with Jaeron about his unfinished manuscript and as soon as he recovers from the feeblemind spell Ewe cast on him, he'll finish it. He can't even remember where he put the rough draft. Let's see... Oh yeah, a picture of me might be going up here. It was taken at the November Ashton event. I'll have see it first though...it was snapped early on the last day of the event and I have no idea how I looked. I haven't given up my dream of a trip to find my grove, but I don't when I'll make the pilgrimage. I haven't the freetime, nor the transportation. Sigh... That's about all for now. Bye-bye!
